After Care
About the use of retainers
Regardless of the brand or type of orthodontics, your teeth start moving immediately after stopping your treatment. If you don’t wear your retainers, your teeth will tend to shift back into their old placement. This is known as relapsing. If you don’t wear your retainer, you may need orthodontic intervention again.
Therefore, it is recommended to get retainers after the correction is completed. It is especially important to use a retainer as it is easy to go back immediately after orthodontic treatment.
